Meet Linda Monas

•  Hi, I'm Linda, the President of LBM Academic Consulting. In 2019, I founded LBM Academic Consulting with a unique approach to college admissions guidance. Our service is individualized and streamlined, focusing on the specific needs of high school students. 

• My journey into college admissions guidance was sparked by my experiences helping my sons navigate the complex process. This hands-on involvement gave me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the intricate layers associated with college admissions. It was through extensive research and numerous college campus visits that I gained this insight. My experiences inspired me to develop formal education and expertise to help simplify the process for other students, help them identify colleges that best fit their goals, and facilitate their success with college admissions. 

• Before entering the world of college consulting, I built strong communication, marketing, and analytical skills in medical sales. My love for working with adolescents and families grew through years of volunteer work in the Type 1 Diabetes community. During this time, I led diabetes support groups, trained school staff, and advocated for insulin pump therapy with Medtronic Diabetes.
